My first assignment

Freedom Communications is a media company headquartered in Irvine, California. It is a privately owned information and entertainment company that is responsible for print publications, broadcast television and interactive business. I interned for Freedom Interactive, which is responsible for media production for more than 100 publications, including 27 newspapers, weekly newspapers, magazines, and other publications that reach more than 3 million households across the country.

My first major project was to propose a redesign for the Orange County Register's Varsity sports page. My objective was to gain some important components from other sports websites, mainly ESPN, NFL, and NBA websites to gain a better perspective of where I wanted to take my design. I had a meeting with senior designers as well as a product manager to produce my design.
